The final Avengers book in the Infinity event and one of the final main titles for the Infinity event, Avengers #023 does not disappoint! We see the Avengers fighting to save earth from the evil tyrant Thanos, with a little bit of help from their com-rads.

Story Summary (some spoilers)
As the Marvel event Infinity slowly comes to an end, Avengers #023 focuses on Captain America's fleet of Avengers as they prepare to take out Thanos' army. In the beginning of the book Captain America and Iron Man are talking about taking out the army that has attacked Wakanda but Iron Man insists that he has that situation covered and wants Cap to go straight after Thanos. The next thing we see is Cap and the leaders of his formed army discussing how to break through the barricade. As the fleet attacks Thanos' command ship we find that the Avengers and their allies are outnumbered by Thanos' forces and have to send people to the inside. Black Widow takes a small crew with her as they enter the mother ship in an attempt to take it down. Widow and her team are met by the commander, Black Dwarf, who has a small group of soldiers with him. Widow and her team barely survive the fight with the soldiers and are left to face Black Dwarf. As Black Dwarf is about to kill them, Gladiator brings a small team in as backup and destroys Black Dwarf. The book ends with Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor and others about to head down to earth to take out Thanos and the remaining members of his army.

Review of the Book

Avengers #023 really lives up to what an Avengers book needs to be. A lot of fun action, and an awesome advancement for the event Infinity! The writing from Jonathan Hickman in this issue was very well done and gave us an awesome thrill ride of action and adventure! The art in this issue was also very very well done! I am a very big fan of Yu's art style and love all the books that their art appears in! It's a very realistic style but still carries that perfect amount of  catrooniness that a super hero book needs!

Pros, Cons, and Rating

Pros: Good writing, beautiful art, and is an awesome/fun ride!
Cons: I would have liked to have seen more of the action with the Avengers in space. I.e Spider-Woman, Hulk etc.

Rating: 10/10. This is everything someone would want out of an Avengers book and is a fun ride from beginning to end!
