After returning home from a banishment to earth, Kid Gladiator learns that not everything is as it once seemed and being different is better than being told what to do with yourself.

Story Summary(some spoilers)

Kid Gladiator returns home after being "banished" to earth. After a distress call comes in from Gladiator saying that anyone above level 6 is required to fight, Kid Gladiator prepares to enter battle with the Avengers and his fellow students against Thanos' evil forces. As Kid Gladiator is preparing for battle his father appears in a hologram telling his son that he will not be joining the battle, but of course, Kid Gladiator disobey's his father's orders and joins the battle against the evil army anyway. From there he proves himself to be a great fighter and proves himself to be better than what is written out for him. Kid Gladiator then returns to earth to resume learning at the Jean Grey School.

Review of the Book

This book is honestly really pointless. It's a wannabe "feel good" story about being yourself and not being afraid to be different. Yet again, another topic that has been over done and used a million times. This also screws with the continuity of Infinity because I do not remember seeing Kid Gladiator along side the Avengers during the giant space battles. Anyway, this book I guess is somewhat decent as a one shot but I can't imagine how this ties in to anything relevant. The art is again, decent but nothing to be amazed with. This book is definitely not worth the $4.99 price tag.

Pros, Cons, & Rating

PROS: Decent story telling, and decent art
CONS: It's a $5 book, overdone wannabe "feel good" writing, boring

Rating: 6/10. Decent book. Not worth $5 though.
