Skydance Productions and Annapurna Pictures are teaming up to bring a new Terminator series to a television.
Yes, it is true and confirmed.
The Hollywood Reporter stated this,
"The TV series will follow a critical moment from the first Terminator film (1984) and, where the film's story goes one way, the upcoming series will take the same moment in a completely different direction. As the rebooted film trilogy and the new TV series progress, the two narratives will intersect with each other in surprising and dramatic ways."
The team behind the up and coming series are Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller, writers of Thor, X-Men: First Class, and Sarah Connor Chronicles. With that being said, we can assume that the two are no strangers and may bring us a grand project.
At the moment there have been no casting announcements made for the new TV series. Oneidea being thrown around is that both Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson are said to be frontrunners for the role of Sarah Connor in the new films.
More info to come!
