Premise/Story

The so-called Superior Spider-Man has failed. Under his watch, the Green Goblin took control of New York's underworld. This is all Otto Octavius' fault. Now it's his responsibility to take the Goblin down.Win or lose, this shall be Otto's greatest battle. Whatever you do, don't miss the first chapter of the biggest event in the entire Superior Spider-Man Saga! The End starts here. Superior Spider-Man versus… THE GOBLIN NATION!

Review of the Book

The beginning of the end! As a huge Spider-Man fan I have been looking forward to this story arc since it was first announced! Not because it's the end of Superior Spider-Man(which I'm actually really sad about) but because it's Green Goblin vs Spider-Man! This issue was a fantastic kick off to the final arc of this series and really set the ball in motion for the final chapter in Otto's run as Spider-Man. This is issue is very fast passed and focuses more on the desolation of Spider-Ock and sets up a lot of questions for the remaining issues still to come. The art in this book is pretty good, though Camuncoli is not my favorite artist to illustrate Spidey, I would say that this issue is a definite step up for him and is better than his other work from the Superior issues he has illustrated. I don't have to much to say other than this issue was really good and really entertaining. The writing is average Dan Slott and kept me hooked the entire time. One thing I specifically liked the most from this issue was the page when Spidey comes face to face with the Green Goblin and Goblin is standing with an army of B & C-List villains. I just found this hilarious, and a good way to throw a bunch of villains into a book that normally wouldn't make an appearance in this day and age!

Why to Buy & Rating!

WHY TO BUY!
This book is incredibly entertaining and really makes you want to know what happens next. The writing is great as usual from Dan Slott, and the art compliments the story arc very well

RATING: 9/10(A-)
