Universal Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming sequel The Purge: Anarchy. Lets just say it looks like bloody fun (Literally). Check it out HERE:

The Purge: Anarchy steps away from the "safety" of a home and takes to the streets. 

On the night of the annual Purge, a man sets out to get vengeance from the man who killed his son, but becomes compelled to assist a mother and daughter who were taken from their home, along with a couple who were left stranded on the highway, to help them survive the night.

Returning alongside writer/director/producer James DeMonaco to produce the sequel to 2013’s hit are Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum, alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller  and Andrew Form. Within this teaser the work of this SUPER group is apparent.

It still looks like a cross between the 2003 game Manhunt and what the first Purge should have been. I'm pretty excited! The thing that I find most appealing is the fact that we have these intertwining stories that take place during the same event. This may just be me, but I really films and stories that do this.

The Purge will commence July 18, 2014 and I'm telling you now the best place to hide will be your nearest theater. Plan ahead!
