For The Fan Presents:
Blood Sugar Summer
“The Most Photographed Woman On The Planet”
Blood Sugar Summer mixes one of the most compelling soundscapes with lyrics that will floor you. Their latest track “The Most Photographed Woman On The Planet” really shines light on a tragic tale. There’s an evolution of sound that comes through here. You will find that it’s beautiful throughout, and it focuses on transitional moments, so you aren’t getting anything that is droning or repetitive. It’s eclectic, it’s a sonic boom of lyricism mixed with an aural effect that just works.
On the track you are hit with goth style, synth pop, rock, and alternative elements that are not simple at all. There’s something complex here, and something that works amazingly well with the use of tones. If you have some time to spare, you have to take this for a ride. It’s layered, it’s iconic, it’s melodious. It’s a sound that I haven’t heard in a while, and something that is very much in tune with some of the best in the genre, albeit the genres are blurred here.
Whether you like electronic music, goth, synth, alternative, or just love music in general, you’ll appreciate the track on many levels. Check out “The Most Photographed Woman On The Planet” and you very well may grab a vision if you close your eyes. There’s a lot here, definitely worth pursuing.
