Deadpool Is Going To The Movies

It looks like all the positive reaction towards the leaked Deadpool test footage is about to pay off. The film will no longer be in developmenthell , but instead will be in theaters sooner than we thought.

20th Century Fox has just announced that the film will in fact be made. Not much was given out besides the February 12th, 2016 release date. But, to be completely honest that is all we really need. One concern though, can they shoot and edit the entirety of the film within that 16 month timespan? And, will it have an R rating? Which is actually really important for the development of the film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, original director Tim Miller is still attached to the project. No word has been given to whether or not Ryan Reynolds has been signed a deal, but he is more than likely to star as the Merc with a Mouth. Especially after the release of test footage; I think it is safe to say that we are all sold on Reynolds playing DeadPool.

It is exciting to know that this film has been given the green light to begin moving forward. So, grab your friends and raise your hands up in celebration. DeadPool is going to the movies.
