Welcome to my first official post (not just recommendations!) on this lovely site!  My name is Dan and I am here to take you on a wild journey into what some call Marvel after dark.  That's right baby, I'm talkin' DC Comics!  Though we may lose the vibrancy,  colorful humor, and charm that Marvel swings around on occasion in this 'verse, here you will find the dark, the gritty and the  *gasp!* brooding world of angst we call Batman. If that doesn't grab you by the collarbone and shake you into a squirming puddle of joy fret not! All heroes are valid, no matter the publisher! I am just going to be giving you the what's what and the who's who with this, The New 52. There are some really great things going on this month so let's dive into this week, shall we?

Welcome to this week's Comic Book Buy List where I (Matt) tell you which 3 books you need to pick up from the big two publishers, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics! This weeks for DC, my buddy Dan helped me pick the top three since I normally don't read DC (nothing against it, just none of the titles really grab my eye).
