A modern re-telling of the musical classic Annie, follows Wealthy businessman Benjamin Stacks, an updated version of Daddy Warbucks,  who comes to the aid of a young girl living in an orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. It is a contemporary adaptation of the musical of the same name, which in turn is based upon the 1924 comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray.

The reboot stars Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhané Wallis, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, and Cameron Diaz.

Annie will sing her way into theaters December 19, 2014.
